To be honest and frank, no solutions here solved my issue. However, I completely uninstalled all the Revit files on my computer, did a fresh install and made a secondary materials folder. After everything was installed, I cut the files from the materials folder, put them into my secondary materials folder materials 2 then renamed the original materials folder to "materials x", then renamed my "Materials 2 folder" to materials and now it is all working.
